Starting on April 4, 2023, gamers will be able to access the new PlayStation Plus lineup — Meet Your Maker, Sackboy: A Big Adventure and Tails of Iron. These games are compatible with both PS4 and PS5 consoles.

PlayStation Plus subscribers can access all three games without additional charge until May 1, as announced on the PlayStation Blog.

The PlayStation Plus games from last month will soon be unavailable after April 3. Members should add Battlefield 2042, Code Vein and Minecraft Dungeons to their collections before that date.

Meet Your Maker

Developed by Behaviour Interactive, the team behind Dead By Daylight, Meet Your Maker is a first-person game that involves building and raiding in a post-apocalyptic setting.

The game is filled with bizarre alien creatures, human sacrifices and ominous designs, and the gameplay involves raiding other users’ outposts and building the player’s own.

Meet Your Maker delivers a unique and gratifying adventure where players create and discover. They can play alone or team up with a friend to build structures or engage in challenges created by others.

At the beginning of the game, the player’s initial task is to raid other players’ outposts. The concept is straightforward — these outposts created by other players contain genetic material known as GenMat, which players need to retrieve and bring back to their base.

These outposts vary greatly in size and complexity, ranging from small structures to massive complexes with numerous traps, enemy guards and intricate designs.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure

For PS5 users, Sackboy: A Big Adventure might ring a bell as it was one of Sony’s five first-party launch titles for their latest console.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a 3D platformer game developed by Sumo Digital, where players compete to complete hazardous obstacle courses in both single-player and co-op levels.

Players can join forces with up to three others to tackle the levels, with certain parts requiring teamwork to progress, making it an excellent option for family playtime.

The game utilizes haptic feedback to mimic the sensation of walking on different surfaces, such as wool-like flooring or platforms, providing players with a more immersive experience.

Tails of Iron

Tails of Iron is a 2D action role-playing game created by U.K.-based developer Odd Bug Studio with hand-drawn visuals. Released in September 2021, Tails of Iron has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from Steam users.

The game’s storyline involves King Redgi, a royal rat who must defend his kingdom from Frog Clan, an invading group of frogs. The game’s protagonist must undergo a deadly combat trial as part of an ancient Rat tradition to prove his worth as the new ruler after defeating the tyrannical Greenwart.

Doug Cockle, who gained fame for being the voice of Geralt in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, narrates the player’s journey across the fantasy medieval Rat Kingdom.

The gameplay draws heavily from the 2D Soulslike genre, taking inspiration from games like Salt & Sanctuary and Hollow Knight.

The game has a free expansion called “Bloody Whiskers,” which includes a post-game questline, two additional difficulty modes, five new bosses, a selection of special armor and weapons and a hidden secret.
